Dizzy Blonde Studios, Lazer Sheep Yarns, Not Knots and Oink Pigments are happy to announce Knit Dizzney 2022!

The D23 Disney Expo has been schedule for our usual Knit Dizzney weekend, so, in order to make the most of our event, we have had to shift our date to the following weekend.

There are still some concerns about present health conditions, so the details of the event are a little fluid.  This year we will have both in-person (actual) AND virtual events! We are not sure yet of the date for Knit Dizzney Virtual, so we’ll get back to you on that as other aspects on the event unfold.

The parks are open, however the reservation process is still in place. We would like to invite you to come spend the day with us on Sunday, September 18, 2022 at the Disneyland Resort and play in the park for Knit Dizzney!!  We will trek the parks in groups of 4-6.  Please refer to Disneyland’s Website often for up-to-date ticketing and reservation information along with parking, security and safety procedures and protocols. As always, the event is free if you’re just coming to the meet-up, however parking is a different story.

As things stand now, we will be hosting an in-person meet-up between 1:00-2:30. We are hoping to bring the meet-up back to the Touchstone Lounge in Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel. However, location and size of meet-up to be determined as official Disneyland events and guidelines unfold. It is our hope to have a limited gathering inside Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa. We will finalize the size of the gathering as we get closer to the date. Since it worked out well last year, our back-up plan will be meeting at the picnic area.

As usual, we are excited about this year’s theme, and will be offering 3 different colorways, including one on a non -wool base, exclusive event hand-crafted project bags and many extras. As in previous years, there will be fun games and door prizes at both Virtual and Actual events.

Keep watching this space for all details and teasers as they become available! It is our goal this year to kick this off early enough for everyone to receive their orders prior to the event.

I gave a little clue the theme of this year’s event in the yarn mouse at the top of the post. As always, if you think you know this year’s theme, hush!  Please no spoilers just quite yet! If you just cannot contain yourself, please send me a private message with your guess. I may or may not confirm or deny if it is correct. I’ll be revealing the theme soon (probably 1st week of May)
