Magic of Marigolds

Every year I think that year’s bag is the best bag ever, and then Silvia from Not Knots proves me wrong. This year is no exception! Wow, is this project bag stunning! The “Crossings Bag” feature marigolds on front, the flower and petals that are necessary for crossing between the Land of the Living and the Land of the Dead on Dia de Los Muertos.

These bags are truly beautiful, and measure 9 inches tall, 10.5 inches wide with a 4 inch gusset which makes for a generous rectangular, self-standing base. The shorter (but wider) size makes it the ideal grab-and-go bag for a commuKNITy on the go. It is the perfect size for those one-skein projects that we like to work on while traveling, waiting at an appointment, or once again spending time at your favorite theme park with a your favorite people!

They are fully lined with a color-coordinating Dia de Los Muertos-theme fabric The two 4-inch pockets and Not Knots’ 1″ signature needle/hook pocket have been crafted in a “Coco” themed fabric! Silvia meticulously hand crafts each bag herself, and her attention to detail and quality work cannot be surpassed. These bags are worth the gold it would take to fill them.

The exterior of the The Crossings Bag features a strong webbed wrist handle, a locking-toggle drawstring closure and drawstrings which are decorated with the coolest skull pony beads, that, get this…GLOW IN THE DARK!

The price for the “Crossings Bag” is $35 each.

There is an extremely limited quantity, so get them while supplies last. And at this price, that won’t be long! Quantities will be limited to one per customer, or one per bundle*.  Pre-orders will open around June 28, 2022 and will be open for about 3 weeks, until July 19, 2022 (but honestly, I think they will be sold out way before then).  Orders will be filled in a first-come, first served basis.  But when they’re gone, they’re gone! In the unlikely occurrence that there are any bags left over after pre-orders close, you can purchase them directly from the website (link to be activated after 07/09/2022).

So mark your calendars for June 28, 2022 to make sure you get yours before they’re all sold out!
