This year we have added a new location to the Dizzy Blonde/Disney events. It’s called Stitch the Magic and it’s a similar event to Knit Dizzney, however, it takes place at the Florida Disney World resort. Much like Knit Dizzney, Stitch the Magic is a gathering of yarn enthusiasts, mainly knitters and crocheters, set at one of the Walt Disney World resort locations, depending on the theme. Click here for a more detailed description.
This year, the theme is Moana, so our meet-up is on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 1:00 is just outside the Ohana restaurant in Disney’s Polynesian resort and hotel, very close to where they serve boozified Dole Whips as well as other cocktails and small plates. Parking details and work-arounds can be found here. As this is the first year, we are not organizing an excursion into the parks. We want to keep it simple and see what works best.
Not local? Not a problem! There is also a virtual meet up scheduled for Saturday, November 26, 2022 @ 8:30pm EST/5:30 PST. There will be games and door prizes at each meet-up. And to top it off, you are not limited to choosing between the two events. You can attend both!
Just as with Knit Dizzney, we have exclusive Moana-inspired yarn colorways, and project bags and this year we are adding a set of beautiful hand-made stitch markers.
And we are even including free shipping and an upgrade item for every bundle sold: A reversible shawl fastener. One side is the Heart of Te Fiti, the other, a Mickey Mouse Silhouette. (Bundle consists of one of each item pictured above)
The Stitch the Magic 2022 Moana-inspired collection can be ordered directly from Beach Bunny Yarn’s website here. Just chose from the dropdown menu and add to cart! No messy pre-orders forms and invoicing. You can also add your free “Ticket” to attend one or both of the events. You do NOT have to purchase collection items in order to attend. Though, we won’t stop you if you do.
We have also included links to the event registration form, if you prefer to go that route. Just click and fill. Google will do the rest.
Looking forward to seeing familiar and new faces at both events!
