The Power of 3

Silvia Mendoza of Not Knots has done it again, bringing us another amazing project bag! Similar in design to last year’s bag, these bags are truly beautiful, and measure 9 inches tall, 10.5 inches wide with a 4 inch gusset which makes for a generous rectangular, self-standing base. The shorter (but wider) size makes it the ideal grab-and-go bag for a commuKNITy on the go. It is the perfect size for those one-skein projects that we like to work on while traveling, waiting at an appointment, or once again spending time at our favorite themes park with a our favorite people!

They are fully lined with a coordinating fabric and feature two 4-inch pockets and Not Knots’ 1″ signature needle/hook pocket in contrasting Hocus Pocus-themed fabric! Silvia meticulously hand crafts each bag herself, and her attention to detail and quality work cannot be surpassed. These bags are worth the gold it would take to fill them.

The exterior of the The Power of 3 Project Bag features a strong webbed wrist handle, a locking-toggle drawstring closure and drawstrings which are decorated with the colorful pony beads.

However, this year she has brought us something truly magical! Silvia has provided a selection of different Hocus Pocus-theme fabrics to chose from for the exterior of the bag. Please see the sample of the swatches below. Each have been named and numbers, to which you will need to refer when ordering.

Some of the fabrics are in extremely limited quantity, and orders will be filled on a first come/first served basis. So to ensure you have the best chance of getting the bag you want, order early! Pre-orders will opening up soon, most likely around June 28, 2023 and will be open for about 3 weeks, until July 19, 2023. I will give firm dates, as well as defining what constitutes a bundle in my next post.
