I am so bummed that I will not be able to be a vendor at this year’s CogKnitive Fiber Retreat, (which, by the way, was always one of my all-time favorite events), but that doesn’t mean there won’t be any DBS yarny goodness to be had! Feast your eyes on Sea Glass, our custom colorway dyed exclusively for the relaunch of this amazing retreat.
The colors shift from crystal teal, to lapis blue, aqua, amethyst and glacier gray.
Sea Glass is dyed up in our DBS Dizzy Blonde 100% superwash Merino 2-ply light fingering. And at 560 yards per 4 oz skein, there’s plenty of yarn for a moderately substantial shawl.
Which is why Dizzy Blonde Studios has teamed up with Brenda Castiel of Good Stuff Crafts, who not only is designing a knitted shawl pattern, but has created a gorgeous project bag with martini-drinking mermaids. The bags come in several varieties and sizes;; Standard with or without pockets, with either a drawstring or zipper closure, or a larger size with the same features. Additionally she has created a coordinating zippered notions pouch.
The CFR 2023 kit consists of 1 skein of Sea Glass yarn, 1 standard bag without pockets with either a drawstring or a zipper closure and 1 copy of the mystery shawl pattern for $74.00.
